Stephen joined the association on 5 October,1987.
As a member of the Federal Committee he took on the position of Federal Secretary in 1997 and was very involved in the organization, the mailing and paper work required for the staging of AMRA's 50th Anniversary Convention held in Sydney in 2001.
Stephen was presented with a Meritorious Award at the Convention for his outstanding performance in the position of Secretary and additional position of the www.amra.asn.au web Master, of which he continues to this day.
Stephen continued in the position of Federal Secretary until 2004, when due to the ill health of the incumbent Federal Registrar, Brian Alcock, he fortunately for the Association, accepted the Registrar's position in 2005.
As the work load of the Registrar was to be computerised, Stephen's computer skills were the asset that we required and he has spent many, many hours developing and refining the membership system that we have now.
